This quickstart uses the Lucim console. You need a Lucim account, a workspace, and permission to create monitors.
1

Open Monitors

In the console, open Monitors and choose one onboarding path:
  • Connect codebase to discover dependencies from a GitHub repository, HTTPS Git repository, or uploaded archive.
  • Watch dependency to configure a concrete API, MCP, SDK, documentation, policy, pricing, or status source.
2

Configure a source

Select the source type and enter the locator requested by the form. For example, an OpenAPI monitor needs the URL of a JSON or YAML specification.
Lucim validates the locator against the server-owned capability catalog before it creates the monitor.
3

Wait for the first capture

A new active monitor requests an initial capture immediately. Scheduled acquisition remains available if the first request cannot be queued.Open Health to inspect monitor runs and acquisition state.
4

Review a change

Open Changes after the source changes. Each published row includes severity, verification status, capture hashes, and before/after evidence.
5

Choose a delivery path

Use Destinations to configure a signed webhook, or create an API key in Settings for REST, CI, or MCP access.
Your monitor is working when Lucim has captured the source and its latest run is successful. A first capture establishes a baseline; it does not manufacture a change signal.
