Codebase discovery turns an immutable repository revision into an evidence-backed Lucim configuration draft.

Supported intake paths

Select an installation and repository. Lucim resolves a commit through the GitHub App and records repository provenance.

Scan boundary

The repository scanner inventories files and evaluates registered discovery rules. It does not run hooks, submodules, package managers, builds, tests, or repository-provided executable rules.
1

Create a connection

Open Monitors, choose Connect codebase, and select the intake method.
2

Request a scan

Lucim resolves an immutable revision and enqueues the scan on the dedicated repository-scanner queue.
3

Review evidence

Inspect the draft, candidate type, confidence, locator, and redacted repository evidence. Ambiguous candidates may be classified through OpenRouter, but the candidate still has to cite persisted evidence.
4

Activate selected items

Accept or reject draft items, then activate the reviewed digest. Activation stages all selected resources in one tenant-scoped transaction.
Passive native monitors may be auto-activated only when both the connection opts in and the deployment switch permits it. Replay probes and sandbox definitions always require explicit review.
An executable candidate can become only a disabled sandbox definition. Repository discovery never executes it and never bypasses sandbox approval.
After activation, use Review changes to inspect captured drift.
